Overview

Salsa With A Kick is a spicy, family-owned salsa brand with personality as bold as its flavor — led by a fiery chili pepper mascot kicking a flaming soccer ball. The mission was to build a playful, conversion-optimized eCommerce website that would reflect the brand’s energetic tone, while making it easy for customers to discover, learn about, and purchase their growing line of salsas and spicy merchandise.

Problem

Despite having a compelling product and memorable branding, Salsa With A Kick lacked an online experience that captured the excitement of its salsa lineup or supported direct-to-consumer sales. Key challenges included: Translating a cartoonish, sporty brand identity into a polished, user-friendly interface Designing an eCommerce system that supports filters (spice level, flavor, bundles) Creating a seamless mobile checkout experience Adding playful elements without compromising performance or usability
